Thank you, Neil!!! I haven't watched this game since my VCR bit the dust in 2002.

Oh god. I'm having flashbacks. No matter how crammed full of delicious meats my hoagie was, I could never get the bad taste out of my mouth. Damn Jordan. Damn 90s Bulls.

It's funny, I was looking for footage of Starks' 2-for-18 catastrophe, and I couldn't find anything, but I came across this instead. Nothing like a little MJ 1.0 vs. the Knicks, you know?

Man that was an awful performance. I can only think of playoff performance worse than that:

The same awful 2-18 from the field but with 10 turnovers to top it off!

I dunno. He did have 9 boards and 9 assists. Not like he was useless out there.

Thanks, Jason! Man, 2-for-18 in an elimination game -- and I think he was 0-for-11 in the 4th quarter, when they only lost by 6... I bet Starks still loses sleep over that game to this day.

That was such a horrible loss. Starks was key to the team getting to that moment, and for him to fall flat. I always felt bad about that. Houston really came though against the Suns and the Knicks that year thanks to great defense in game 7s.
