Facebook “Like” Buttons on Player Pages

Posted by Neil Paine on January 11, 2011

In BBR news, Justin has added Facebook "Like" buttons to all player pages — meaning you can, at long last, declare your affection for guys like Terry Dischinger or Mookie Blaylock.

Have fun, and feel free to even go a little crazy with this...

  1. Neil Paine Says:

    Random, off-the-cuff list of underrated advanced-stat-darlings you should "like" (in addition to Dischinger & Blaylock):

    * Neil Johnston
    * Terry Porter
    * Nate McMillan
    * Bobby Jones
    * Larry Nance
    * Terrell Brandon
    * Artis Gilmore
    * Eddie Jones
    * Chet Walker
    * Brent Barry
    * Fat Lever
    * Clifford Robinson (maybe/maybe not)
    * Sidney Moncrief
    * Arvydas Sabonis
    * Horace Grant

    This is truly becoming the golden age of BBR

  3. P Middy Says:

    Yeah, you got Robinson on that list. But you never had to sit and watch him clang a couple of free throws off the rim in the Finals and just kill your team's chances in the series. I'll like a healthy serving of vegemite before I like that guy.

    There goes my weekend.

    starting a list or great Spurs bench warmers:
    Uwe Blab
    Dwayne Schintzius
    Andrew Gaze

    Re: #3 - You know, I added Cliffy because he made this post's list of honorable mentions:

    But looking at his numbers, I'm not sure why. I think it's pure longevity and attrition on everyone else's part that got him there. Feel free to not like.

  7. Nick Says:

    Glancing at Artis's stats makes me wonder how dumb the HoF voters could possibly be to not have him inducted.

  8. Brandon Says:

    I can finally publicly show my affection for the great Paul Mokeski!
