May 11, 1970: Drafted by the Buffalo Braves from the New York Knicks in the NBA expansion draft.

July 26, 1971: Traded by the Buffalo Braves with Herm Gilliam to the Atlanta Hawks for Mahdi Abdul-Rahman and Jerry Chambers.
