April 10, 1972: Drafted by the Baltimore Bullets in the 3rd round (39th pick) of the 1972 NBA Draft.

August 28, 1975: Traded by the Washington Bullets to the Detroit Pistons for Dave Bing and a 1977 1st round draft pick (Tree Rollins).

November 7, 1977: Traded by the Detroit Pistons with Howard Porter and cash to the New Jersey Nets for Al Skinner, a 1978 2nd round draft pick (Terry Tyler) and a 1979 2nd round draft pick (Tony Price).

September 8, 1978: Traded by the New Jersey Nets to the Detroit Pistons for Eric Money.
