The distributors who create plays for their teammates? Here we will be recognizing the best single-game assist performances in NBA history. Just about 35 years later, this remains the most assists in a game in NBA history. Though Skiles had a relatively lengthy NBA career playing 10 seasons in the league, his 3,881 career assists place him far, far below all-time leader John Stockton\u2019s 15,806. Porter\u2019s then-record for assists in a game would stand for more than 12 years.
