neither duncan nor robinson even made ONE final 4. robinson was a late bloomer and played against very low caliber, small Div. I competition.
not an OSU fan, but lucas should rate higher. played in the NCAA finals all 3 years players were eligible then, and teams were 78-6 in his career. bird, thompson and pistol pete were better than russell in college, far better. bill couldnt even shoot outside 5 feet.
all-time 5 of non college pro stars: c-moses malone, f-kevin garnett, f-lebron james, g-kobe bryant, g-mcgrady, 6th man-dwight howard.
the list of busts who went from HS to pros is pretty long.
and i agree on the bob kurland points. had he played in the NBA, he and mikan would have been the first great center duel. a contemporary of mikan, he got a bit of the better between the 2.

He won 2 gold medals, but Mikan is universally considered the game's first great big man, so who's to say what might have been had he gone to the NBL or BAA?

If I had more time I may have got the rest, except for #20. I have no clue who he was.
