Boxscore Breakdown: Finals Rematch, Vol. II

We were hyping it earlier this week, and Thursday night we finally got to see Boston take on Los Angeles and try to avenge their Christmas Day defeat at the Lakers' hands. Could the Celtics pull it off at home, against an L.A. team that sorely missed Andrew Bynum but also boasted the game's most dangerous pure scoring machine?

Boxscore Breakdown: LeBron’s MSG Moment

Just when you thought the near-constant LeBron-Kobe debate might cool down a bit this week in favor of Boston-vs-L.A./Finals-rematch talk, Bryant went out and destroyed the Knicks to the tune of 61 points in a win on Monday night. Not to be outdone by his fellow Redeem Team mate, King James handed the Knicks a jaw-dropping performance of his own on Wednesday, dismantling N.Y. with 52 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds in a 107-102 win at the Garden. And so it is against that backdrop that we once again dive into the LBJ-vs-KB24 fray to bring to you yet another (boxscore) breakdown by the Knickerbockers at MSG...

Boxscore Breakdown: Kobe vs. LeBron, Round 1

So, did anybody catch that game last night?

In preparation for it, yesterday morning I wrote a rather effusive hosanna about LeBron James' high caliber of play this season, breaking down how LBJ's performance so far had not only surpassed Kobe Bryant's best years, but was also challenging the greatest campaigns of legends like Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.
