June 27, 1990: Drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round (26th pick) of the 1990 NBA Draft.

November 15, 1992: Traded by the Detroit Pistons with Brad Sellers and a 2000 2nd round draft pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Gerald Glass and Mark Randall. The 2nd round draft pick traded to Minnesota was conditional and was not exercised.
